Seasoned Peanuts (Chinese Style)
Ingredients
- kilo of peanuts with the shell (better to use raw)
-1/4 cup soy sauce
-2 tablespoons msg or bouillon
- 5-6 broken cinnamon sticks
- 2 tablespoons Szechuan pepper
- 3 tablespoons cloves
- 2 tablespoons fennel seeds
- 2 pieces of ginger
- 2 cayennes
-6 star anise
Instructions
-Add all the ingredients in a pot with water that covers them.
-Cook for about 2 hours. They should be quite soft when you bite into them.
-Let it marinate overnight and then strain it.
-Store in refrigerator.
